Clover Stroud - journalist and writer
After graduating from Oxford where she read English, Clover went to live in America, where she spent 18 months working on a ranch as a cowgirl and riding bucking horses in rodeos. In 2000, within a year of returning to England and aged 24, she had had a son. She has combined bringing up her two children, Jimmy Joe and Dolly, with her work as a freelance journalist. She lives in Oxford with her children and husband Pete.
Her work has taken her around the world, and a hunger for adventure continues to inform her work.
